For your heart and sanity - join a Supervision Group
As a qualified Social Work Supervisor, a trained Systemic Supervisor and a registered Blue Knot supervisor, I facilitate group supervision for practitioners at all levels of experience, specialising in trauma, attachment, developmental wounds, and interpersonal violence, these groups offer a chance to join with others, to share the load, to receive and give support and to deepen knowledge and skills working with trauma.
My model for supervision is relational and includes a bio-psycho-socio-cultural lens which emphasises embodiment and mind-body integration. My supervision approach is trauma and attachment informed, influenced by the ideas of therapeutic-supervision and working with implicit and explicit experience. By providing a blend of theory, mindfulness, and practical elements within sessions, my intention is to offer support, safety, and competence to practitioners which can translate into the lives of their clients. This is a consciousness raising endeavour and it’s as much a personal as professional experience reflecting the goals of holism and integration.
I provide specialist group supervision for anyone working in the mental health and trauma sectors, Accredited Mental Health Social Workers, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy or somatic-oriented modalities, and for those seeking Havening Accreditation. I'm also part of the Blue Knot team of practitioners facilitating trauma-informed group supervision facilitating groups across Australia.
My main supervision focus is supporting practitioners working in the trauma sector, grief and loss, as well as gendered issues of violence, or with people experiencing developmentally adverse experiences and/or overwhelming experiences across life.
